23-year-old West Bend man dies following snowmobile crash in Langlade County

LANGLADE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A snowmobile crash in Langlade County left a 23-year-old man from West Bend dead.

It happened Saturday, Jan. 8, around 2 a.m. in the town of Evergreen, located east of Antigo. 

According to a report from WSAW, the victim was identified as Conrad Schmidt. 

Witnesses said Schmidt missed a curve, struck a tree and was ejected.

Schmidt died of his injuries at a local hospital.
