3 arrested, charged with stealing more than $9K in property from former Cheel restaurant
THIENSVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say three former restaurant employees were arrested Monday, for allegedly stealing more than $9,000 worth of property from the former Cheel restaurant.
Officers were called to the building for reports of a number of people taking alcohol and other property from inside.
Police on scene located a number of adults inside the restaurant and determined they were past employees of either the Cheel, the Baaree bar and grill, or the Daily Taco -- all owned and operated by the same local business owners.
Police say Patrick Collins, Lucas Hensel, and Cheryl Raymond were arrested and transported to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office jail.
It was determined that the former employees did not force entry but used their past key code credentials to open a door leading to the interior of the restaurant.
Collins, Hensel, and Raymond were each charged with theft of movable property.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Thiensville Police Department at 262-242-2100.
