MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Early Sunday morning, May 18, Wauwatosa police arrested six teenagers ranging from 16 to 18 years old after they allegedly stole a vehicle and crashed it into another vehicle around N. 53 St. and W. Vilet St. in Milwaukee.

Just a bit after midnight, a Wauwatosa police officer observed a vehicle speeding, without lights on around W. State St. The several occupants were seen wearing masks and displaying suspicious behavior around an area that has seen heightened burglaries and stolen cars recently, according to law enforcement. 

The officer radioed the vehicle to other officers, and they relocated it around N. 53 St. and W. Vilet St. 

Law enforcement tried to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled from the police causing a pursuit. 

The suspect vehicle crashed into another citizen's vehicle causing minor injuries to the citizen.

Several suspects fled the scene on foot, while others remained in the vehicle having suffered from various serious but non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officers arrested six suspects with ages ranging from 16 to 18 years old. 

The investigation is ongoing.
