"Carroll University would like to thank the Waukesha Police Department and the Southeastern Wisconsin community for their swift response and action that led to the arrest of the suspect from Friday’s incidents. This was a great, collaborative effort and our Public Safety Department, as well as the Waukesha Police Department worked around the clock to apprehend the suspect.
We will continue to maintain the safety of our students by promoting our escort and transportation services that are available to all students, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our public safety officers will continue to patrol campus frequently, too.
At Carroll, we pride ourselves on educating our students on early reporting when incidents occur, and to not be afraid to step forward. We also encourage them to not be a bystander if they witness wrongful acts. This educational process at Carroll is important and essential to sustaining our safe campus environment.
Again, we would like to thank our Public Safety Department, Waukesha Police Department, the Carroll community, residents of Southeastern Wisconsin, and local media for placing our campus community back at ease.”
