Authorities on scene of 12-car crash near Madison

MONONA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says all three lanes of the Westbound Beltline are back open to traffic Thursday morning after emergency repairs to a large hole in the pavement were needed. 

The Sheriff's Office says the road buckle only impacted morning traffic from 5:45 a.m. to 7:10 a.m.

MONONA, Wis. (CBS 58) – Authorities responded to the scene of a 12 car crash in Dane County Thursday morning.

According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened near U.S. Highway 12 and Monona Drive. Both lanes of Monona Drive are blocked and the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 12 have been closed to traffic at U.S. Highway 51.

Authorities say the crash is under investigation and drivers should expect delays. There is no word on injuries.
