NOW: Bankruptcy plans still underway for Window Select

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Many questions are still lingering from customers of Menomonee Falls home improvement company Window Select.

For the past nine months, countless Window Select customers have reached out to CBS 58 with complaints about paid orders that were never fulfilled.

In that time, we've learned that hundreds of customers have been impacted, the company has gone through some serious restructuring, and no longer occupies its main office or warehouse.

We've also uncovered dozens of lawsuits against the company from customers and business partners.

Now, a third-party company, Cogent Analytics, has taken over operations for Window Select and last month, informed customers that Window Select plans to file bankruptcy.

Customers were told the bankruptcy filing would happen by the end of January but as of Feb. 1, it has yet to happen.

A criminal fraud investigation is also ongoing and has been for months.

Customers via social media told CBS 58 they're feeling more discouraged each day that their business with Window Select will ever be resolved.

There are still many people waiting for orders and even more attempting to get refunds, either directly from the company or through lawsuits.

The communications team representing Cogent Analytics and Window Select told CBS 58 that plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy are still in the works and an update should be expected later this week.

Customers with current contracts should have been contacted by customer service by now, but those who haven't are encouraged to email [email protected].
