Bucks owners to meet with developers, announce more owners July 15

MILWAUKEE -- It's a big week for the Milwaukee Bucks.  The new owners will meet with potential arena developers and finally cash in the number 2 draft pick.

Co-owner Marc Lasry is in Milwaukee Monday making his rounds to various events.  He spoke in front of the Milwaukee Press Club and Rotary Club Monday morning.  He took a lot of questions from the audience. As expected, many questions were about the potential new arena.

Lasry will meet with three or four potential arena developers Wednesday in new york.

When asked about what he wants from the city - he just asked that city leaders work with them.  He said they'll take the plans to the city once they figure out where they can put the arena.

He also said he and co-owner Wes Edens are under intense pressure to get an arena built.

\"The problem we have is in our agreement with the NBA, if an arena is not built, the NBA has the right to take the team back from us,\" Lasry said.  \"So we've got three or four years to do that.\"

Lasry will throw out the first pitch at the Milwaukee Brewers game Monday night.
