Waukesha County Sheriff says two pursuits by Deputies involved the same car early Friday morning. The orange Kia was spotted at just after 1:00 AM Friday morning driving without headlights and officers tried to pull it over. The car eluded officers when it went into a subdivision in the Pewaukee area. Authorities later determined the car was stolen.
Just before 3:00 AM officers sitting along the interstate observed the same car which now had no plates on it and began their pursuit, which took them into West Allis, New Berlin, Muskego and finally in Franklin where the car crashed at Highway 100 and Loomis Road.
A man from Big Bend was taken into custody, he suffered minor injuries after he rolled the car.
The man was charged with eluding officers and OWI.
