MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Salvation Army is helping families facing financial hardship this holiday season.
The Salvation Army hosted its annual toy shop distribution where families were able to select new, donated toys to gift their children.
"No kid should be left with nothing under the tree, and this has really helped me a lot to make sure they have something under the tree," said April Miller, grandmother of four children.
To date, the Salvation Army of Milwaukee has provided 8,954 children's toys during the holiday season.
