June home sales show strength in southeastern Wisconsin market
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58)—According to the American Welding Society, the demand is there. This organization estimates some 320,000 welders will be needed by the end of the decade. In part, these workers will fill the gap left by the Baby Boomers and Gen Xers leaving the working force.
For another year, Metal Supermarkets, the convenience store for metal, is offering up its Trade School Scholarship program. Four students will each be awarded $2500 to help offset tuition costs. You have until the end of June to apply.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger had the chance to speak with the folks at the franchise location in Waukesha to find out why this skilled trade is so important.
