Cause of Cudahy house fire remains under investigation

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A house fire is currently under investigation in Cudahy.

The Cudahy Fire Department was called to a home on Layton Avenue around 2 p.m. on Friday for a report of smoke coming out of the second floor window.

Fire crews entered the home and found that the second floor was filled with heavy black smoke. 

Crews from Saint Francis, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and Franklin arrived on team and assisted. 

The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
