MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In Week 8 of CBS 58 Friday Night Rivals, we'll have highlights from our game of the week, Muskego at Waukesha West. We'll also have highlights from Marin Luther at Racine St. Catherine's and Racine Horlick at Franklin.
Martin Luther vs. Racine St. Catherine's
Two undefeated teams went head-to-head on Friday evening as Martin Luther took on St. Catherine's. The Angels wasted no time as they set in on the air raid. Da'Shaun Brown puts one on a rope to Rashid Poole. That was 23-yards to score as Poole made the grab in the end zone.
St. Cats extended their lead as Brown showed off his wheels, found a gap, and turned on the after burners, hauling it 84 yards almost untouched. It's no wonder he's one of the top recruits in the state. Brown finished the night going 6 for 7 for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Angels won it 27-21.
Racine Horlick vs. Franklin
In the southeast, Franklin was looking for a share on the conference crown by taking on last year's champion Racine Horlick.
The Sabers made it look easy as Matt Devinger stepped in the pocket, a 15-yard strike to Nolan Jessup. There's more where that came from, Dyson Klubertanz down to recieve, he picked it up just before the 50-yard line.
Horlick was not going away though. Nate Ramsey rolled out and launched a 70-yard touch down pass to Martavion Bell.
Franklin wins it 48-13.
