CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The 49th annual Wine & Harvest Festival in Cedarburg is scheduled to feature a variety of activities and vendors to help kick off the fall season.

The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16 and 17. The festival will bring together hundreds of artists and vendors along Cedarburg's Main St., as well as a food court and a new area dubbed Harvest Alley.

Among the events to expect is Art on the Avenue, organized by multiple Cedarburg institutions, as well as the Festival Food Court next to the Community Center offering an extensive menu, including new items such as an Autumn Apple Cheddar Bacon Brat or the Turkey Cranberry Wrap.

Live music will be performed on several stages, with the main stage featuring extended hours on Saturday night until 9 p.m.

Other festival highlights include Saturday's Great Pumpkin Growers Weigh-Off and Sunday's Giant Pumpkin Charity Regatta, which begins at 2 p.m. In addition, attendees can sponsor a pumpkin in the new Mini Pumpkin 500 race at Cedar Creek Park. The park will also host the Art of Joy’s Party in the Park Music Festival, featuring various artists and refreshments.

A 50/50 raffle to benefit Festivals of Cedarburg will be conducted near the Food Court where one person will be able to split the pot to benefit Festivals of Cedarburg.

Parking will be available at Fireman’s Park and Cedarburg High School, with shuttles provided to the festival grounds.

Packer fans who are worried about missing the team's game on Sunday, screenings will be available at various locations, including near the main stage.
