City of Delafield Police Department partners with wellness application to help employees

DELAFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The City of Delafield Police Department says it is the first agency in the state to offer a certain 24/7 wellness application for employees.

The department says it joined the Cordico Shield Wellness Application which provides resources for current officers, retirees and their families.

The chief of police said in a press release he hopes this app will help law enforcement members and their families during this time of high stress.

According to the department, there is also a public side of the app which provides information to the public on the department.
