UW Health Chief Quality Officer joins CBS 58 to discuss health...
The dreary weather didn't stop a determined group of volunteers from beautifying a three block area of Milwaukee's Clarke Square Neighborhood.
This wasn't nickle and dime stuff.
This was work that required some heavy lifting and the kind of painting and planting that required some real coordination and elbow grease.
Smile all around.
This really seemed to be a labor of love.
"We're doing it to help homeowners stay in their homes," explained Lynnea Katz-Petted of Revitalize Milwaukee. "And have a good quality of life for as long was they want to."
For longtime resident Judith Maldonado, the help was heaven sent.
"I have two adult cognitively challenge children. And it's kind of hard. We're alone."
More than a dozen Sherwin-Williams employees pitched in with the company providing the paint and supplies to get the job done.
