OAK CREEK-- August 5, 2012 was a day many Wisconsinites will never forget, it was the day an armed white supremacist entered the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, and opened fire.
The man killed six people and hurt four others inside the temple before taking his own life.
As members of the temple prepare to mark the 3rd anniversary of the tragedy Wednesday night, they told CBS-58, they will also honor the victims who died at the church shooting in Charleston, SC and the victims killed last month in Chattanooga, TN.
Open meditation will begin at the temple, located at 7512 S Howell Ave, Oak Creek, WI, at 6 PM. A candlelight vigil takes place at 8, followed by a community meal.
