Construction worker injured, pulled up from Lake Michigan bluff in Shorewood

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A construction worker had to be rescued off a bluff in Shorewood Tuesday morning, March 9.

The North Shore Fire Department was called to an area near Lake Drive and Kensington Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.

Officials say the construction worker was hit with a large boulder as part of a bluff stabilization project.

Due to the location and terrain, a rope rigging system was used to bring the construction worker up the bluff.

North Shore fire officials say he was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
