PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A kick off to the holiday season took place in Pewaukee on Friday, Nov. 15.
Country Christmas at the Ingleside Hotel has returned.
Every year, millions of lights, intricate displays, and fan favorites like Santa's house pop up around the hotel's property.
In true holiday spirit, it's all for a good cause.
Part of ticket sales are being donated to the Christmas Cleaning Council of Waukesha County; a nonprofit organization that helps provide holiday gifts to kids in need.
"This is a wonderful experience to kick off your own Christmas, your own holidays," said Sarah Hein with the Christmas Cleaning Council of Waukesha County. "You know, you have community coming together and raising money in Waukesha County for Waukesha County children."
The six-night walk through event starts tonight and wraps up Sunday before returning next week.
