Democratic Party of Wisconsin holds news conference ahead of Vice President's visit to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Democratic Party of Wisconsin held a news conference Wednesday morning ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Milwaukee.

Vice President Pence is expected to talk about the Republican Tax Reform passed earlier this year and what it means for Wisconsin. The group says the new tax law is not right for residents of the state.

“We are here because this dangerous and reckless tax policy that Mike Pence is here to brag about jeopardizes social security. It jeopardizes health care and Medicare for older Americans. It is a mistake. It is the wrong approach, it is not what Wisconsin needs,” said State Rep. Daniel Riemer (D-Milwaukee).
