Milwaukee Department of Public Works responded Wednesday to the scene of water spurting out from the street on Wisconsin and Van Buren in downtown Milwaukee.
DPW said that they were flushing a main when a car hit a barricade around the air vent exposing it and causing water to shoot in the air.
The air vent has been closed. No one was injured. No infrastructure was damaged.
