MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers is pushing for voters to vote blue this November.
He was at Gee's Clippers Tuesday night, alongside Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin, who's running for another term.
Rivers talked about being a well-known athlete and coach and the consequences that could come from speaking out for one political party or another.
He said he's willing to take advantage of that and speak what he believes to be the truth.
"The one thing I keep hearing that really bothers me is when anybody, doesn't matter the color - 'I'm not getting involved in politics.' And I've always said, 'well, politics is getting involved in you.' Every single day, something happens," Rivers said.
Rivers said he believes every vote counts.
