MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A procession for fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Kendall Corder was held Tuesday night, and an outpouring of support as his body was taken from the medical examiner's office to a funeral home.
Officer Corder was removed from life support on Sunday after a three-day fight for his life.
It was last Thursday when he and his partner, Officer Christopher McCray, were shot in an ambush style attack near 25th and Garfield.
Officer McCray survived and was released from the hospital on Saturday.
Now, the man accused of gunning them both down, 22-year-old Tremaine Jones, is formally facing charges.
