MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 21.

The shooting took place around 12:52 p.m. near 37th and Park Hill. 

According to police, the first victim was a 24-year-old, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second unidentified victim was conveyed to a local hospital and succumbed to injuries. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police are seeking unknown suspects. 

A 23-year-old male was taken into custody on charges unrelated to the shooting. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
