Emmy-winning comedian John Oliver to perform Milwaukee stand-up special, show rescheduled

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Pabst Theatre announced on Thursday, Sept. 28 that John Oliver's performance is being rescheduled from Friday, Sept. 29 to Sunday, Oct. 29. The change is due to his HBO series, "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" returning to the airwaves.
Previously issued tickets will be honored on the new date and do not need to be exchauged, but those with tickets who cannot attend the new date should email by [email protected] Oct. 13.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- John Oliver, Emmy-winning television host, writer and comedian, is slated to perform a stand-up comedy special at the Miller High Life Theater in Milwaukee.
He is best known for his successful stint as host and producer of HBO's critically acclaimed show, "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver."
The live show is set for Friday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m.
Oliver's career, spanning over a decade, features roles as a correspondent on "The Daily Show" and co-host of the satirical podcast "The Bugle," among acting roles in films like "The Lion King" and television roles in "Community," "Bob's Burgers" among other shows.
He has received 23 Primetime Emmy Awards, five Writer's Guild Awards, two Critics' Choice Television Awards and two Peabodys.
Tickets for the live show will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m., available for purchase via the Pabst Theater Group's official website.
