Red Arrow Park is preparing to host the second annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee, featuring a range of family-friendly Halloween activities.
Scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, the gathering includes live music, pumpkin giveaways and a children's costume parade. It will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and aims to offer an engaging experience especially for children ages 2 to 10.
Those who attend should expect to enjoy activities that tap into the fall season's atmosphere.
The first 500 guests will receive a free pumpkin, courtesy of Metro Market and Pick ‘n Save. A kid's costume parade is set to commence at 12:30 p.m., guided by Mayor Cavalier Johnson and the Extra Crispy Brass Band.
Various musical acts, including Frogwater and Mariachi Monarcas de Milwaukee, will provide entertainment.
Other offerings include story time segments, pumpkin painting and live carving demonstrations. Vendors will be available for sweet treats and lunch options.
The Jubilee is set to take place rain or shine, with a rain date scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 29, between the same hours.
