Felons arrested after having loaded gun on North Water Street and East Wisconsin Avenue

Friday night two convicted felons pointed a loaded gun at officers near North Water Street and East Wisconsin Avenue around 2:35 AM.
District One officers were on patrol in the area when they were approached by several citizens who reported there were two men with a gun standing outside a nearby vehicle.
When the men saw the officers, they got in their car and fled. Two additional officers were in the 600 block of N. Water Street when the vehicle pulled up to them and one of the men pointed the gun at the officers. Officers pursued the vehicle and the suspects were taken into custody in the 600 block of North 2nd Street a short time later. A loaded 9mm gun was found on the rear passenger’s seat. Both suspects are 34-years-old and from Milwaukee and both are convicted felons.
The suspects face various charges including Fleeing and Officer, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Pointing and Aiming a Firearm at a Law Enforcement Officer.
