MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Smoke and flames erupted from the second floor of a north side home early Thursday morning.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, they were called to the scene near N. 27th St. and W. Burleigh St. around 7 a.m.
Crews arrived to smoke and fire on two floors of the building.The house sustained a great amount of damage, but there were no injuries following the blaze.
Five people were displaced from the home and were being helped by the Red Cross.
Authorities are still investigating a cause.
