Fond du Lac County officials investigating death of 5-month-old baby boy
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A death investigation is underway after officials say a 5-month-old baby was pronounced deceased at a home in Fond du Lac County.
Authorities received a 911 call on Monday, May 31 from a residence on Gulig Road in the township of Calumet, for a report of a 5-month-old baby that was not breathing and non-responsive.
The 911 communications officer began CPR protocol via phone with the caller.
Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, along with Mt. Calvary EMS and Fond du Lac City Paramedics responded to the scene. Life-saving measures were taken but the baby boy was pronounced dead.
The death is under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office.
