GREEN BAY/MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Four college students from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and St. Norbert College are on their way to Milwaukee for the sixth annual "For Them Ruck March."
The march is 140 miles and kicked off at the Veteran's Memorial near Lambeau Field in Green Bay Sunday, June 27. The goal of the event is to raise money for veterans while also bringing awareness to mental health issues like PTSD and depression.
Students say they hope to donate $20,000 for Wisconsin's veterans.
"I thought it would be a good opportunity to raise awareness for the people who give so much for us," said Samuel Skiff, marching.
The march is happening now through July 3. Donations are accepted online HERE.
