Former Milwaukee County Jail officer sentenced to 3 years for sexually assaulting inmate

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former Milwaukee County Jail correctional officer has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Gilberto Fernandez-Rosa was convicted on sexual assault charges involving a female inmate and former work colleague.
Officials say an inmate accused him of making sexually charged comments and touching her inappropriately.
The court sentenced Fernandez-Rosa to three years in prison followed by three years of extended supervision.
Fernandez-Rosa resigned in February following the allegations.
