Former Milwaukee Wave coach announces next endeavor

MILWAUKEE -- He says he wasn't fired and that the breakup was mutual.  Longtime Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer spoke for the first time since parting ways with the Wave last week.

He says he's excited to move forward.  He announced he's starting the K. Tozer Soccer Academy. It focuses on kids ages 4-15. It'll be soccer camps, leagues and training.

Tozer says he's extremely proud of what they did with the Wave.

He said he worked tirelessly for the franchise for 21 years.

Now he's looking forward to something new. But he's not sure what that will be.

\"This is been on my mind for many years back to when I was about 46-years-old,\" Tozer said.  \"There's nothing really going on there's restructuring of course because of the league. it's a business it's no different than any other business. We just felt that this time was the perfect time for us to say hey thanks for all the great times and it's time to move on.\"

Tozer wished the Wave and owner Sue Black the best.

He said he'll continue to coach the U.S. National FUTSAL team too.
