MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bread of Healing Clinic is providing free medical and pharmacy services in Milwaukee as health care consolidations limit access to care in underserved communities.
Dr. Rose Dotson, health and wellness director for Cross Lutheran Church, and Michele Cohen from Bread of Life Healing Clinic discussed the clinic’s role when she joined us on Friday, Feb. 20.
The clinic offers free prescriptions, dental care and other health services to residents who may be unable to access care elsewhere. Seniors and individuals without reliable pharmacy options have particularly benefited from the services.
The clinic is open four days a week and aims to bridge gaps left by recent closures of healthcare and pharmacy providers. More information, including location and hours, can be found by clicking here.
