Antetokounmpo, Middleton each pledge $100K to Fiserv Forum staff, Bucks organization will match donations

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has pledged to donate $100,000 to Fiserv Forum staff amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The donation comes after the NBA's decision to suspend the rest of its season on Wednesday, after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for the virus.

Giannis made the announcement in a tweet Friday, March 13, noting that he wants to help the people that have made his life and the lives of his teammates easier.

The Bucks organization replied with a pledge to match all Bucks player donations to part-time arena workers.

Not long after, Khris Middleton followed suit, matching Giannis' $100,000 donation to Fiserv employees.
