New sexual misconduct law used to prosecute former Kewaskum officer
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 12-year-old is sexually assaulted in an abandoned Milwaukee home and now neighbors who live next door want the city to tear it down.
The sexual assault happened at the abandoned home near 27th and Chambers. The doors and windows are boarded up with a sign saying no trespassing, but that’s not stopping people from going inside.
A next-door neighbor shared photos of the inside of the home. Milwaukee Police say a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at the residence on December 1.
A spokesperson for the Department of City Development says the home is now under review and will most likely be demolished.
Juan Guzman also lives nearby. He says he’s called the city about 50 times to complain about the home.
“There’s human feces in this house. There’s garbage. There’s piled garbage inside of this house. If you were to take the door off, no, it’s piled full of garbage inside. There’s still beds in there, everything. It’s supposed to be empty,” Guzman said.
Milwaukee Police say they know who sexually assaulted the little girl and are still looking for him.
