Judge grants Morgan Geyser conditional release
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – One of the two girls who attempted to kill a classmate for the fictional “Slender Man” character will be sentenced Thursday.
Morgan Geyser faces up to 40 years in a mental health facility.
She pleaded guilty in 2017 to avoid prison time. A second girl, Anissa Weier, was sentenced in December to 25 years in a mental hospital.
