MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are searching for suspects after two brothers were shot and killed in Milwaukee. The brothers were gunned down on the city's north side.

"I wanted to hug my brother or be able to at least say 'bye' with my mom and my sisters and brothers, but they wouldn't let us do that," said Macshuanya Wright. Wright is now helping to plan two funerals. The men shot were her brothers.

"Just seeing the body bag was closure enough for me, because that's as much as I'm going to see until the funeral."

Wright says the men come from a large family -- 11 siblings and more half siblings.

The brothers were shot around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday afternoon near West Center and North 6th street.

Wright says 26-year-old Justin died on scene. Her 39-year-old brother Antonio died in the hospital. Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument.

"I heard it was something silly as a female making a call and some females pulled up in a car that was tinted and shot at my brothers and pulled up," said Wright.

Police were on scene for hours and questioned several witnesses.

Macshuanya's friend, Adante Jordan wants answers.

"It happened in broad daylight. Somebody saw what happened. Somebody even knows what happened. So this is the time for the community to come together," said Jordan. "I understand sometimes our actions bring certain reactions, but they did not live their life to where this should have been the reaction. These were positive, good, decent, African American young men that senselessly lost their life so the community has to speak up."
