I-894 Project set to close more ramps starting today near the Hale Interchange

MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- Drivers will continue to see new traffic patterns and ramps closing and reopening near the Hale Interchange with the I-894 Resurfacing Project.  This morning drivers will lose a set of ramps but only for a short period of time.

Starting at 5 a.m. on Monday ahead of the morning commute, drivers heading south along the I-894 southbound corridor from the Zoo to Hale Interchanges will lose a busy ramp as part of ongoing work at the Hale.

The Beloit exit ramp and entrance ramp to I-894 south will close for the next 10-days for resurfacing and traffic work.  Drivers that normally would use these ramps are urged to use either use the Oklahoma Ave. off ramp or the National Ave. on ramp to either exit or enter the freeway stretch accessing the Hale Interchange.

With these ramps closing comes the possibility of delays for both the evening as well as morning commutes. The closures are expected to reopen by mid-July.
