MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin National Guard is getting new equipment thanks to a local company.
The Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IBVI) in Menomonee Falls assembled tool kits for them.
Troops were examining the kits Tuesday morning which include industrial quality tools. Officials hope the collaboration expands opportunities for the blind and visually impaired.
The National Guard is getting more than a dozen kits for things like carpentry and plumbing.
