'It's pronounced Mill-e-wah-que': Alice Cooper to bring shock rock to Milwaukee in May
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Known locally for his comedic showcase of Milwaukee's history and pronunciation in the 1992 film "Wayne's World," a legendary rock figure who blends music with horror-inspired theatrics is set to return to the Cream City. The stage show aiming to feature guillotines, electric chairs and elaborate effects.
Alice Cooper will perform at the Miller High Life Theatre on Wednesday, May 14. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m.
Cooper has been performing his brand of shock rock for more than five decades. His best-known hits include "School’s Out," "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Poison," along with the Halloween classics "Teenage Frankenstein" and "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" from the soundtrack to "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives."
His career spans multiple platinum albums, sold-out tours and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
