Kenosha Co. sheriff: 104 citations issued, 7 arrests at Country Thunder music festival

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department issued 104 citations and arrested seven people at this year's Country Thunder music festival. 

The 2021 festival took place from July 15-18. 

The majority of the citations were for underage drinking.

  • Underage Alcohol Violation – 79
  • Obstructing/Resisting an Officer – 11
  • Battery – 4
  • Disorderly Conduct – 4
  • Trespass to Land – 3
  • Possession of Marijuana – 2
  • Identification Card Violation – 1

Uniform Traffic Citations – 3

  • Operate Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Intoxicant, 1st Offense – 1
  • Operate Motor Vehicle with a Prohibited Alcohol Concentration, 1st Offense – 1
  • Reckless Driving – 1

Misdemeanor Criminal Arrests – 7

  • Disorderly Conduct – 3
