Kenosha Man Appears in Court on Homicide Charges in Assisted Living Facility Death
The man charged with fatally stabbing a man at an assisted living facility in Kenosha appeared in court on Monday.
Marcel Kudzin of Kenosha made his first appearance in Kenosha County Court on Monday.
He is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide.
A $500,000 cash bond was set and the 65-year-old Kudzin was ordered to undergo a competency evaluation before returning to court on December 1.
Kudzin is accused of fatally stabbing a 56-year-old resident of St. James Manor in Kenosha.
He is also accused of a 47-year-old woman who was treated for her injuries. The assaults occurred on Tuesday, November 10
Preliminary investigation by Kenosha Police Department revealed the stabbing occurred when Kudzin and the woman were involved in a physical altercation.
The male victim attempted to intervene.
