Kenosha police investigate possible child enticement incident

KENOSHA -- Kenosha police are investigating a possible child enticement incident that took place on April 29, 2014. Police say a man approached a girl and asked her to come to his house as she was leaving Lou Perrine's Gas Station on Sheridan Rd.

At 7:58 a.m. a Chevrolet pick up truck pulled up to a girl as she left the gas station. The man inside the truck is described as an older Hispanic male with a bit of grey hair. The girl told police the man asked her for her telephone number, if she lived nearby, and if she wanted to go to his house to smoke weed.

The girl says she responded by telling the man her age, and the man apologized and drove off. The girl says she has seen this truck driving around Washington Middle School.

Kenosha police are asking everyone to report any suspicious activity to the dispatch center, 262-656-1234.
