Kenosha police investigating fatal shooting near 30th and Roosevelt

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha officials identified the victim of a fatal shooting near 30th and Roosevelt Saturday, Feb. 29, as 23-ear-old Malik Boyd of Gurnee, Illinois. 

The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a shooting near 30th Avenue and Roosevelt Road in Kenosha early Saturday, Feb. 29. 

Kenosha police were in the area around 2:10 a.m., and heard gunshots and responded to the scene. 

A large crowd was gathered and a victim was located and transported to Froedtert Hospital and pronounced dead. 

No one is in custody.
