Kenosha County officials: Suspected driver in fatal hit-and-run turns self in

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A suspect has turned himself in in connection with a hit-and-run that left a man dead in Kenosha. 

A Kenosha County sheriff's deputy found 36-year-old Scott Mingilino -- a Kenosha resident -- unresponsive on the shoulder of State Highway 158. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officials were searched for a white Cadillac SRX in connection. 

On June 26, officials say William Koprovic -- a resident of Salem -- turned himself in to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department. He was arrested for hit and run involving death and is being held in the Kenosha County Jail. 

The incident remains under investigation.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha officials are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that left a 36-year-old man dead. 

It happened Sunday, June 25 around 2:22 a.m.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says a Kenosha County sheriff's deputy was traveling westbound on State Highway 158, in the 8800 block, when they found a person laying on the shoulder unresponsive. 

The man -- identified as a Kenosha resident -- was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Authorities believe the suspect vehicle is a 2010-2016 white Cadillac SRX.
