Lakefront Brewery offers guests with Kias, Hyundais closer parking due to rise in theft

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lakefront Brewery is offering a new option for guests, but it's not on tap. 

Lakefront says it's offering Kia and Hyundai drivers a more secure spot, closer to the building. 

The brewery says it's because of a rise in car thefts targeting those particular makes of vehicles. 

Milwaukee police announced last week they are partnering with area departments to tackle the rise in vehicle thefts in the city.

A motor vehicle task force was created -- a combination of district officers and detectives working to identify individuals involved in stealing these vehicles.
