MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Grab your lightsabers! It's national Star Wars Day! The day is celebrated on May 4 every year in honor of the pun "May the fourth be with you."
On Wednesday, May 4, 2022, Phil Carper from R2-MKE, a local Star Wars droid making group, joined CBS 58 to talk about the full-size replica robots they build of popular Star Wars characters. He even brought in his own BB-8 life-size droid.
The newest member of the @CBS58 Morning News team...a cheeky little droid! @AlexCorradetti seems especially taken by BB-8. #MayThe4thBeWithYou#StarWarsDaypic.twitter.com/YoNITCveu1
