Local stein raising competition could be your ticket to a trip to Germany!

Some beer stein "stamina and strength" could win you a free trip to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.

Until 7:30 this evening a stein-hoisting competition is taking place at the "Miller Time Pub and Grille" off Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.

The goal is simple hold a 5 pound stein filled with beer without spilling or bending your arms. 

CBS 58 Michael Schlesinger got the chance to try his hand at this during the morning show.

And even though it might look easy it's really harder to accomplish than you think.

This is the fifth year for the contest sponsored by Samuel Adams.  One woman and one man across the country will be chosen for the German trip.
