Locals clear closets while offering deals on gently used accessories and clothes at Divine Consign

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Now through Saturday, you can shop thousands of clothing pieces, jewelry and accessories at a local thrift store pop up.

For 16 years, Divine Consign has been giving women a place to recycle their gently used clothing and pass them along to a new home.

“Who would’ve thought we would be bragging about thrifting, said Jessi Wrench, co-founder of Divine Consign. “When we started this 16 years ago, it was kind of something you didn't want to say that you were wearing used clothes. Now, it's something we've all embraced.”

The pop-up thrift store is an opportunity for many women to own expensive brand name clothes they couldn’t otherwise afford.

Divine Consign opens at 9 a.m. daily. New clothes will be added daily to restock the shelves.

“You'll definitely want to come early, but you'll want to come again because at the end of the week everything that's left will be half price, said Wrench.
