Man hit by gunfire during shootout in 2300 block of N. 6th Street

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An innocent bystander is in the hospital after police say he was hit by gunfire on Milwaukee's north side.

Investigators say the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other in the 2300 block of N. 6th Street around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. 

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man in a nearby house was taken to the hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. 

Police are still looking for suspects.
