RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 54-year-old man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the neck following a shooting in Racine near Kewaunee and Carlisle.

Racine police said the shooting took place Wednesday, June 18 at around 6:23 p.m.

Officers found the victim at the scene and transported him to a local hospital for treatment. A 51-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the shooting. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
